We have added years to life, It’s time to add life to years!

Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards. The meaning of life is that which we choose to give it. Many believe that god exists! Whether or not God exists, whether or not He gave us a purpose, we are better off creating our own purpose to live!

The quality of your life is directly related to how much uncertainty you can comfortably handle. It’s not the Years in Your Life That Counts. What counts is the Life in Your Years! While many focus on adding years to their life, it’s crucial to emphasize adding life to your years. This means improving the quality of life.

Add years to your Life!

In the tapestry of time, we weave our days, moment after moment and each thread a moment. Our dreams come true. Let laughter ripple like a playful stream, and dance with joy, as if in a dream. Plant seeds of kindness, watch them bloom, for love’s sweet fragrance dispels all gloom. Seek wisdom in the moon’s serene gaze, and let compassion light your days.

Years to Your Life, a precious gift, measured not by clocks, but by hearts uplift. Cherish every heartbeat, and every breath, and find eternity in moments left. So, dear friend, add life to your years, with laughter, love, and joyful tears.

An average woman spends nearly a quarter of her life in poor health compared to a fifth for men. Women are living 29 years in poor health and men for 23 years. Life expectancy is higher than ever before. In 2022, 1 in 8 people in the world were living with obesity — 2.5 billion adults, 18 years and older were overweight.. 70% of people over 55 will have at least one obesity-related disease.

Obesity is a chronic complex disease. Obesity can lead to increased risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease, it can affect bone health and reproduction! it increases the risk of certain cancers. Obesity influences the quality of living!

Comorbidities refer to the co-occurrence of two or more chronic conditions in the same individual. As people age, the likelihood of possessing multiple significant conditions increases. For instance: By ages 75–79 years, approximately 60% of individuals may have two or more significant conditions. Between ages 85 and 89 years, this likelihood exceeds 75%. Some comorbidities may not significantly affect life expectancy if well-managed. However, certain morbidities may reduce lifespan.

Exercise Regularly: any age is good to start! Healthy Eating: Consume a balanced diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Reducing processed or red meat intake and incorporating legumes and nuts contribute to a longer life.

Adequate Sleep: Prioritize quality sleep. Aim for 7–9 hours of restful sleep each night.

Stress Management: Chronic stress can impact health. Practice stress-reducing techniques such as meditation, mindfulness, or hobbies.

Avoid drinking bouts! High salt consumption negatively affects health. Choose heart-healthy fats and limit saturated fats to promote cardiovascular health.

Remember, it’s never too late to adopt these habits.

Let’s embrace the sunsets, enjoy laughter, and dance in the rain. Let’s find joy in simple moments, like the warmth of a cup of coffee on a chilly morning or the touch of a loved one’s hand. Life isn’t just about counting years! it’s about making each day count. So let’s chase dreams, create memories, and sprinkle stardust wherever we go. And when wrinkles kiss our skin, let them be the roadmap of a life well-lived — a testament to resilience, love, and the magic of existence.

Quality of life

The factors that makeup quality of life are abstract, intangible, and subjective. The factors include the freedom to do things and freedom from bad things. Freedom of movement, of thought, and religion. We also measure quality of life to people’s rights, the right to education, human dignity, fair pay, and having a family.
